How you know is the ONE

who is the designer of your gown. and tell me how do you know that it was THE ONE. i am having a hard time finding the ONE. please share your experience

Gown is by Casablanca - gotta be honest I really didnt have a cried my eyes out, ah-ha, this is the dress moment that some brides dream about.

I had done a lot of research and Casablanca was a designer i had NEVER looked at before I tried THE dress on.

I tried on about 10 dresses - and each one I kept saying 'yea this is nice but the Casablanca dress had this' after doing that so many times, I knew it was the dress.

Finally when I said 'ok this is it' i got a little choked up but that's it.

My gown is Maggie Sottero - Jenna. I went to the store with my mom, moh and bff for bm dresses but we saw my dress on a mannequin. Everyone loved it and wanted me to try it on so I did and everyone started to cry. I thought about walking down the aisle and I couldn't see myself wearing anything else! I love it!!!

For me, it was the only dress that gave me chills when I saw myself in it for the first time. The only dress that put tears in my eyes, my mother and grandmothers eyes, and my friends. I tried on literally 20-something dresses that day and every time I put that dress on I had the same reaction. It was the one.

I'm really nervous about this. I haven't looked yet but I'm hoping once I do that I KNOW when its the one. I'm really indecisive so I'm waiting to look.

I'm super nervous too.. To be honest I can't see myself having an ah-ha moment and knowing its the one... I am not like that really, have trouble making up my mind.. hopefully I'm wrong about this lol

my dress is from david's bridal.
i never had this OMG! this is it moment! i just really liked the dress and everyone loved the way it looked on me.

I don't think anything has been the one bc im such an indecisive person... I guess you can say my future hubby is lucky bc he is THE ONE!!! It took 6 yrs for him to ask me to marry me but im glad i was patient!!!

Ok back to the Dress-
I tried on so many dresses prob about 20 something. I knew right away what i liked and didn't. The ones i thought i would love bc i saw the pic i was not happy with on.. I really thought i was not going to find a dress bc im too picky for my own damn good... lol Well i went to Village bridal, Helens, and another place and I found the one i loved there. I wasn't crazy about the flower on the dress but once i found out it was on a safety pin i was sure this was the one. I was a little nervous since it was pretty soon that i found something and that i was getting married about a year and a half away but i went with it. I wanted to go back to Village bridal bc it is so close to my house. So i went there tried it on and fell in love again- the woman told me she could beat the price and would give me the price if i ordered that day. so i called my grandmother up to come and see it and she was saying ok im bringing my check book bc she wanted to buy it for me. Sooo happy about my decision though!!

I give you serious credit for picking that dress.. It is absolutely stunning and I have always loved it but wow is it heavy!! lol

I also think its hard to think about b/c not many people have gone wedding dress shopping before - most (and hopefully) do this one time.

It's a lot different then just going shopping for a pair of jeans or shoes - i think its hard to 'think' about how you will be going into it.

Its a class all its own

Hmmm...for me it was a dress that I did not expect to like very much, the style was not something I was considering, but when I tried it on I couldn't stop smiling and picturing the whole wedding in it and after that I compared every dress to it, and did not feel the same!....To be honest though, if you are the kind of person who over thinks these kinds of details, it may not happen for you like that, choose something you love, but you don't necessarily have to get a certain feeling!

I ended up with a San Patrick, Eresma style. I knew I wanted something 'hot' and after trying on tons of dresses and going to Kleinfelds, Bridal Reflections etc, i just couldn't get this dress out of my head.

I would say take your time and only bring one other person with you (too many people will only make you confused.)

I got a Maggie Sottero dress. I didn't really have an ah ha moment. But I tried about about 15 dresses, and this was the only dress that I did not want to take off. Then once I had a veil and headpiece on, I could picture myself walking down the aisle.

My mom loved it and got all teary eyed, and everyone in the store said how I stood a lot taller with this dress on and had this 'glow' to my face.

lol and i know but I loved it wayyy too much. I'm getting a hoop too so I've be caring around deodorant and wet ones
