Howard Stern Yanked ...

Offically taken off of the 6 Clear Channel stations he was previously suspended from. FCC gave Clear Channel close to a $500,000 fine yesterday (6 stations). Infinity is expected to get close to a $3 million fine (35 stations).

I heaer that this morning I love Howard (yup he's crude and over the top, but he sure makes me laugh)!

I do hope Infinity stands behind him, though its going to be tough when these fines come down. Its hard to imagine they will be able to bear the burden of $3 million and perhaps more

Nope, just the Clear Channel stations (Orlando, San Diego, etc ...)

He's on WXRK, which is owned by Infinity.

Howard Stern is on vacation this week...

When he's back on the air in NY next week he's gonna be on a tear!!! I think there is some stuff on his website about it, though I can never log onto his site (too much traffic)

It's chump change to them, well not really chump change but it's the cost of doing business ...

The fines are so big because the FCC ruled on each 'utterance' as a fine instead of the entire show. Ridiculous!
