Thanks so much to the ladies who helped me out with the general info for planning an evening wedding. There's so much info out there on timelines for mornings, but an 8pm start? Not so much.
This is what I have mocked up so far - please feel free to tell me what looks good, what needs more time/less time, what's missing or anything else!
Two things - it was easiest for me to work backwards, so I apologize for any confusion. Also, I have a pixie cut so a hairstylist isn't missing, I just don't need one :)
8pm – Ceremony 7:30pm – Invite time; cocktails and appetizers for guests 7pm – Rehearsal 6pm – Family pictures 5pm – Bridal Party pictures 4pm – First look 3pm – Photographers arrive; “getting ready pictures” & finishing touches 2pm – Makeup done
All insight is welcomed, you guys rock! :D I can't wait to finalize this and send it off to my awesome photographers and makeup artist and cross it off my list! **48 days**

How's My Timeline Look? - Long Island Weddings
I think that looks great. I don't think the photographers will need all that time though, from 3pm to 7pm for photos. Believe it or not, it gets done faster than you think. but I would discuss that with your photographer first. But overall I think that's good, the more time the better this way you know you will be on time and relaxed.

Thanks! I don't think all that time is needed either but I'm not sure what to go by. I sent an email to my photographer but he's had back to back to back weddings and know it might take another day or so before he can get back to me. Both FH and my families are pretty small, so I don't expect too much craziness for pics, thank god.

Where are you taking pictures - did you factor in travel time? The earliest I was able to take pictures on the grounds was 2 hours before my invite time. If anyone else is having their makeup done with you, check with the MUA to see how much time she needs per person.

There's no travel time. We're taking pictures in the hotel where we're getting ready at fox hollow inn and on the grounds before moving to fox hollow itself.
