I'm wondering if anyone has had there tasting at Chateau La Mer or went to a wedding there i have heard mixed reviews and wanted to know what everyone thought of it? Thanks girls!

I went to a tasting there and we all loved the food. We booked CLM the night of the tasting. I know I loved the place, but the food sealed it.

well, i booked there as well haven't gone to the tasting but i've heard nothing but really good news. i was convinced. i had an overwhelming response from people saying the food is amazing.
i can't wait. hope to go to a tasting soon

I don't know much about the food...but you should really look at the decor. When we went to look at the place, there were water stains in the ceiling tile in one room plus the bridal suite. The ceramic floor was cracked in different places... other than that .. yes it is a nice place !

The food is outrageous!
I went there for a tasting with my fh, fmil, mother, father and sister...all of us loved everything they brought us. My father is very picky with his food (unless pasta!) and he loved it.
We even joked about getting a doggy bag for the left overs and sure enough they did that for us. We didn't ask. A little embarassed walking out with it, but then I saw other people do the same.

had my e-party there and food was amazing. I think the food was better than many other RH's i have been to. Everyone was raving to us about the food and many even asked for seconds.

My sister had her reception there in 2005...her and her DH live in Virgina and couldn't come up for a tasting so I went with my parents and DH. The food is soo good there! We were all really impressed the day of the tasting and day of the wedding.

food was great at Chateau La Mer. i was there twice for wedding reception of friends of mine.

I was going to book with them and had my tasting, now my friend is geting married there and I went to another tasting. Their food is AMAZING!!. Specially the stuffed shrimps.

I was the MOH at my friend's wedding there. There was so much foord at the cocktail hour that my friend's southern cousin that that was the dinner and then when we went in to sit down for dinner she was dumbfounded that there was even more food to come. The waiters refilled my drinks all night and eventhough I couldn't finish my entree, the waiter came over and asked if I would like another entree of the same type or if I would like to try the chicken or the fish dish! I wanted to be ill. God, then after that, they brought out the chocolate fountain. I couldn't eat for days after that wedding. I thought I was going to explode!
