HUD

Anyone know anything about HUD homes. I get an email from a website weekly that sends me all the HUD homes in my area. Yesterday we drove by one that is going to be auctioned off.

Does anyone know how this works? Where are the auctions usually held and are we allowed to see the house before the auction is held?

Right now someone is living in the house.

All I know is that they are government property and it's basically sold AS IS. Down here, those kind of homes don't come with a sellers disclosure, so you as the buyer know NOTHING about it's history

We bought a HUD home last year fixed it up and resold it, any questions FM me, but basically ours was boarded up and we had to get our agent to let us in with a special key to check things out. alot of people do buy them fix them and keep them otherwise they are great investment properties
