Huh?

So my dad asked me to give him an invite last week for his friend/business associate that he wanted to invite...I hated just handing an invite over without sending it (I had to do this on FIL's side to for someone) but of course, I gave it to my dad. He was missed on my list and my parents never caught it.

His friend just walked into my office and told me 'so we have 4 people ( ) coming to the wedding, my wife/girlfriend (WHAT?!? What is it? Do you have a wife and a girlfriend??) and my brother and his wife. Now, my dad does know his brother very well too, but I don't think his intention was to invite him as well. And how can you just assume that you get an invitation and you can invite whoever?? This isn't a high school open house party!

My parents are paying for the hall so it's fine i guess, but seriously! I didn't even know what to say so I just said ok...good thing he's a very good friend of my dad or I would be even more mad!

And I don't even know what to think of the wife/girlfriend comment......

hahahahahaha that is amazing thank god your parents are paying for the hall because otherwise that would REALLY piss me off!
