Why are we the way we are. WHy can we not recognise a flaw and fix it???? For me I made a boo boo at work today, nothing major( I directed somebody the wrong way and they were 15 minutes late to their appointment) but I feel bad. Why the hell should I care? Why can I just not care, I am not perfect (lord knows that is the truth). What is with that. Why the hell can't I let it go.

Re: Human beings
Darn conscience.
I'm the same way. I feel bad about conversations I had with people in Elementary School, for goodness' sake.
There's a Barenaked Ladies song that talks about it. It's on Born On a Pirate Ship, but I forget the name.

Oh geez....don't feel bad. I am the Queen of Feeling Bad for Everyone and their Mother.
literally.
I feel bad for a person sitting alone eating in a restaurant, the poor immigrant workers in delis, people who can't find a parking spot, the list goes on and on and on....

Re: Human beings
I don't have PMS so this is completely freaking me out, but just reading this thread, I'm practically in tears. I can be one of the biggest b*tches to walk the earth, but I am also one of the most sensitive. The littlest things make me want to burst into tears and just hug someone. It's a wonder I'm actually capable of doing my job considering how many people I've had to tell that they are about to become homeless and there's not a damn thing I can do to stop it.
Bleh...now I need a good, cleansing cry, but I'm too tired to do it.
