Actually, I don't think they are. Filene's is like Macy's, I used to shop at one outside of Boston. Filene's Basement is more of a discount store, like Burlington, or Marshall's.

Really? I always thought that when someone said 'Filene's' they meant 'Filene's basement'. That's all I've ever seen is a FB.
