I'm looking to block rooms at a hotel near the thatched cottage and this is the closest hotel i've found, and it's available. I have never heard of it and was wondering if anyone has been there or heard anything good or bad about it. I can't really tell from the website whether or not it is a classy hotel. Thanks

i think it is by the school i teach in---if it is the one i am thinking of, its kinda dingy...maybe you can look the other way (more east of HTC) maybe hauppague, islandia, etc

yeah, its more like a motor inn... i stayed there after my grad party with a bunch of friends just so we could all get drunk and no one had to drive, but I wouldnt suggest it for the wedding.

I had a friend stay there for another friend's wedding and she said it was fine.
Other hotels near there are the executive inn and the best western (woodbury inn). both are nice. There's a fairfield inn on jericho in syosset too, not far from centerport. should be something in northport though, no??
