Can anyone tell me how much the rooms were for your group block? Also, anyone know if they have a bar or if you can bring liquor into the banquet rooms for an after party??

Last year our group rate for the Hilton was $120 per night.

We talked to them for rates for rooms for next summer- they were $139 a night for double rooms.

We got a price of $135 per night, but we're also blocking off 30+ rooms. If you fill 25 rooms you get a free suite for the night.

Also-- lets say I block rooms for the night BEFORE the wedding and the night of the wedding--will my 7 or 8 rooms from the night before the wedding be counted towards the 25 for the free suite??
$139 is a good rate! Does that include a breakfast?

You don't have to guarantee any number of rooms.
Yes, I believe that the night before will count towards your 25 rooms.
No, the fee does not include breakfast. My mother is planning on setting up a private room for breakfast the next morning. They have a bunch of different menus that you can choose from.

yeah i think the hilton is around $130 a night. it's a great hotel.
also, i dunno where you work, but your job might offer discounts for certain hotels. if it were up to me, i'd stay at the huntington hilton. i think it's one of the best hotels on long island but my job gets discounts at the marriot down the street.
ETA: the bar at the hilton is fun if you make it fun. the staff is great!

Our room block was $109 a night, but those were the 2005 rates.
I definitely recommend this hotel! Just make sure that if your wedding is after November 1st, that it’s not 70 degrees outside LOL
The hotel shuts the A/C off in the whole hotel. Some of my guests were not very comfortable. But they were given fans for their rooms.
