Re: Huntington Hilton
We used them for our wedding, they were great!
Have you tried leaving a message for her? They were really good about returning calls.
Also did a brunch the next morning, which was yummy!
I really don't remember how much the rooms were ... but the rooms were nice & the beds were comfy.

Re: Huntington Hilton
I used the Huntington Hilton and they were GREAT!
We had 12 rooms booked and took their corner bridal suite for us. The prices were competitive and the service was wonderful. We even held a brunch morning following our wedding which was also excellent.
I HIGHLY recommend them!
GOOD LUCK and FM me for more details.

Re: Huntington Hilton
I was a guest at a wedding and stayed there one night over the summer. It was nice, I liked it there.

Re: Huntington Hilton
We used this place. They were VERY difficult to get in touch with and not very helpful. They messed up rooms and over charged many guests (some only recently got their refunds back). About 2 weeks before our wedding I called the hotel to see when I could drop off the welcome bags. It took forever to speak to someone who could give me an answer. When I did drop them off there was so much confusion. Turns out some guests didn't get the bag's and missed the shuttle we provided since the information about it was in the welcome bags

I replied to your post on the '07 board, but my experience was VERY similar to ksl268's. I would NOT recommend blocking rooms off at the Hilton - it is a horribly run hotel, staffed by incompetent, lying morons!

I read your post on the '07 boards and I can't agree with you more! I experienced the same things with HH. I believe you are correct and they person in charge of sales/catering or events did change constantly. I called several times and asked for the person I thought we were working with only to find out that they were no longer there. We were told that the lobby bar would be open when we returned from our reception and if the crowd was large enough they would stay open later than normal. Well, we had 28 rooms booked by our guests and a BIG crowd hanging out at the bar afterwards. They did not extend their hours, even despite the fact we were told this several times and had a large enough crowd to remain open.

Re: Huntington Hilton
Melville Marriott is not to far away from the Hilton. We blocked rooms there for our wedding and had a very good experience there.

Re: Huntington Hilton
I stayed there for a wedding.
I thought it was really nice & the shuttles were very convenient. The price...well...we decided last minute to stay there, so we missed the room blocks. The price we got closer to the date was actually less & very reasonable.
Rooms were really nice.
But I'm sure the people above have more experience with it...
