Huntington Townhouse Brides, past and present! AND anyone else into weird coincidences!
Do you guys know what the Friars Club is? It's an 100 year old insitiution mostly for entertainment people. They do the Friars Roasts that used to air on Comedy Central and a lot of EXTREMELY famous people are senior members - Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Ed Sullivan, Sammy Davis Jr, George Burns, Alan King, Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg, Liza Minnelli, Robin Williams - almost anyone who's anyone in comedy, basically, yesterday and today. They have also relatively recently been letting in non-entertainment people.
Anyway, my DH is a brand new member. Last night was his induction ceremony - Freddie Roman was the host. And who should ALSO be getting inducted THAT SAME NIGHT - Rhonda Silver! That's right, the owner of Rhonda Silver's Huntington Townhouse! WERE WE GOT MARRIED IN MAY! She got called right before Arie! I couldn't believe it! We told her she had just done our wedding!
She was very nice.![]()
