Hurricane Isabelle---Please Please Say a Prayer For This weekend's brides!!!

Ladies, I am soooo UPSET. This hurricane is due in NY on Friday night, maybe Saturday. I am so scared vendors aren't going to make it, guests aren't going to make it, out of towners won't fly in and not to mention people hear hurricane and decide they won't come. I have been crying all day and even saw FI cry. 13 months of planning and now this!!! Why me? Why us? What were the chances I would be checking contracts for act of
G-d clauses. I am sooo sad!!! Please Please pray for me.... It is so important to have all my loved ones there! I don't want to get married without them. And all that time and money that will be wasted? I am hysterical!!!!

Pray for us 9/19 and 9/20 and 9/21 ers!!!!

Looking good ladies!!! Cateogry 3 now and looks like we will miss it! Saturday should be a great day after all!!!! I hope at least. My vendors called and said that thye would be there!!! I am feeling sooo much better.

Thanks to all of you for your support during this stress. keep praying, but I really do appreciate it. Thanks for checking the forecasts and keeping positive thoughts coming for us nervous crazy brides- everyone that is except Jenny5150. don't know how much wine that one had to drink!!!LOL!

We still have a great forecast for Saturday! One of my BM lives in Va Beach and was vacationing this week in NC and called me last night to tell me they were evacuated! I got a little nervous that she might get stuck in Va Beach - but she said she will be here no matter what!! Over 1/2 of FH and my bridal party lives in VA - I hope they all get here safe and on time Thurs for the rehearsal!!

I just got my marriage license this morning and while I was in the car on my way to work I heard that 'Hurricane Isabel is now a CATEGORY TWO' !!We should except heavy rains on Thursday night into Friday morning but everything should clear up my Friday night!!!!

I think we'll all be fine.

It is now only a category 2!!

And, in Port Jeff they have increased the temp to 76 for Sat!!

All of your prayers are working for us!

I'm just seeing this for the first time. As you know, Sat. is suppose to be gorgeous!!!!!!! You will marry your hubby and it will be the perfect wedding you've been planning for 13 months now.
Please don't worry any more about what you can't control. If your 'vendors' can't show- I'll be your photographer- video..... anything!!! You need more people that love you??? I think we can round up some LIW girls!!!! No worries, it'll be perfect!

thanks michelle. I really appreciate that. I am not that upset at all anymore. but this weekend was crazy. Everyone was talking about this crazy hurricane due to hit nyc. you are so sweet!!!! big to you for your kind kind words

I'm so relieved! My college roommate and BM just called and they are starting to evacuate neighborhoods in Va Beach (where she lives) so she is going to leave to come up here today to make sure she has no problems getting here for the rehearsal tomorrow!! I'm so happy that I don't have to worry about her driving in the horribly weather tomorrow!
