hurricane lamps

hurricane lamps

has anyone bought hurricane lamps by the case or in bulk? if so, from where and were you able to get a discount?

i'm going to supply them to my florist to use for my centerpieces, since it will save me lots of money in the end. i looked at michael's today and didn't see any that caught my eye ... they seemed thin and very easy to break.

any suggestions? thanks!

I don't know if cudge.net has what you're looking for, but a bunch of '06ers got glass candle holders from them.

i'm not using hurrican lamps but i am using candle lamps and i got them at Ikea for less than $3 each

they sell them at ac moores. I got them for my ny ceremony... $3 each... they have weekly coupons for 40% off one item, so if you really want to save you and your FH can make a couple of trips to buy them and really save.

I know it sounds weird but Walmart gets all sorts of vases and hurricane type glassware. I bought my vases for my cps there. You just have to be willing to go back and maybe check other stores.

thanks for all of your suggestions ... i'll definitely go and check out ac moore and walmart. i was hoping to buy more than 1 at a time, but i guess i might just have to go back daily or with friends and relatives to save money with coupons!

Try Homegoods...its just risky because a lot of times they won't have enough, but worth a shot...good stuff at great prices! Also try Tuesday Morning...I bought glasses from there and they were able to get me more from another store! Good Luck!
