I am terrified of this also!!! I read online somewhere that Aruba, Barbados and Hawaii are all outside the hurrican belt..so we're considering one of those...we def. want to got an island or on a cruise...so we'll see...

Re: Hurricane Season Brides
I'm personally dying to go to Costa Rica. I know it will be rainy season though so I keep going back and forth on this...I'm also thinking of Antigua, Mexico, Aruba, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, or even possibly a cruise....I'm still in the clueless stage, lol.

You sound like me but, after seeing Sandals in St Lucia was like . I have 2 kids in my class and their moms are from Costa Rica. If you want to know anything about there let me know I will ask them.

Although, Aruba is a bit of a pricier island....It's not as cheap as DR or Mexico.

Thanks!!! I'll keep that in mind. I'm just debating if I should risk it during rainy season....We are thinking of staying 2 nights in the Peace Lodge in La Paz Waterfall Gardens, 3 nights in Arenal and 3 nights in Manuel Antonio....
