So this weekend we went to the Jersey shore. Enjoying our day at the beach, when we decide to go in the ocean. I run in, and turn around and he's still at the shore....he's like 'you are going to kill me'....then he shows me his hand without his wedding band! We tried to look for it but no luck. I was upset at first but I got over it, I didn't want it to ruin our day. It was a plain white gold band, so it was easily replaceable, but it's not the one I put on his hand! We went on Monday to get a new ring and he wound up getting a titanium ring instead and I made sure it was TIGHT on his finger this time! One week from our 1 year anniversary and he loses his ring, I hope it's not bad luck!

Re: Husbands Wedding Band is Lost in the Ocean
I guess this is why they say you should never wear any kind of jewelry at the beach!!!
I have to keep this in mind, I'm getting the wedding bands in the next few weeks!!
And he BETTER keep his on considering how much his is going to cost me!!
But at least yours was replaceable!! I don't think it's bad karma!

it happens to the best of us my dh lost his in the water on the honeymoon, when he flipped the little sailboat he took out by himself. i know it stinks, and it has a lot of sentimental value- but it IS replacable... just be glad it was only the ring

I am so sorry that he lost his ring.
But I wanted to say to you - that if you can bring it the church where you got married and have the priest that married you bless it
