Hey girls I have a question, recently I have been looking into hotels for the night before and night of our wedding. We were booked at Garden City Hotel but they were rude and expensive so I was looking into the Hyatt Place. Someone yesterday told me that it was located in an industrial area? I live in NJ so I can't go there anytime soon but can someone explain what this means because I was really liking this hotel a lot and now I'm worried it's in a bad area or something.

It's not really 'industrial' but its in the middle of a lot, it's right off Old Country Road and next to the Roosevelt Field Mall. With that said, you would have no clue because it's tucked away behind trees and you can't see it from the main road so it definitely makes it nicer than if it was plopped next to the mall parking lot. I have seen it and it's really, really nice. Some of the girls on here are using it for their room blocks. HTH!

We booked our hotel block there. Its beautiful, brand new with a Starbucks inside! At first we werent thrilled as there was an abadoned building nearby! Which has happily been knocked down. Very quiet area, off the main traffic streets but close enough should guests need something to do. Highly recommend them! Rates were great and Jeannine in the block department has been a pleasure to work with!

THIS!! you cant even tell thats its basically in the middle of a parking lot behind a bunch of buildings. its so nice inside. we stayed there after my sisters wedding, and we're using the hotel for a group b-pic shoot its so modern and pretty inside. the hyatt is great i would use them.

We're thinking of staying there too actually. The prices are much better than Garden City Hotel and the rooms are really nice.
