HYATT PLACE ROOM BLOCK

Hello ladies! FH and I went to the Hyatt Place today and loved it. The rooms were very beautiful and spacious. The director of sales was not available today so we were unable to get prices for a room block. I was wondering if any person has blocked rooms there before or got prices from there.I'm curious about your experience. TIA!

We have a block there! $139 per room! The rooms are BEAUTIFUL and Jeannine Lang is extremely sweet! Good luck!!

Thanks! The manager told us that we would meet with Billy. Have you ever met with him before? We didn't even bother checking out the Hampton Inn next door. The Hyatt Place was so nice.

I met with him. He's a nice guy, kind of new, but he was still pretty knowledgeable.

They don't. We booked out shuttles through Camelot though.

Are you talking about the one in Garden City? I believe I was quoted at $159 so I suppose it depends on the season. Also, if I'm remembering correctly, there was either no bar or it closed early like midnight.

They started at $149, but we got them down. It also depends on who you speak to.

I am wondering the same thing... Looks like an awesome hotel... just wondering how late the bar stays open. If anyone knows?

I honestly cant remember...but they did say you can bring your own alcohol and stay and hang out in the lobby as long as you want and use it as your after party...I thought that was cool.

We are using them for our Hote; Block, and Jeannine has been sooo unbelievably helpful. I have emailed her a million times and she always gets back to me. We got our rooms for $119 a night.

Hi All-

I had my wedding back in November and could not have been happier with the Hyatt Place. To answer a few of your questions:

They do not provide any kind of shuttles (not even to local train stations or the mall). They will however give you the number to a local cab company.

Jenine Lang was great to work with, espeically the day prior and the day of.

They do have a bar. They told me before hand too that they close at midnight. However, since we had such a big crowd downstairs for the afterparty, I think they ended up keeping it open until after 2pm. The kitchen was still open then too!

I was told by a manager yesterday that the bar is only open until midnight. The manager said we would be able to have people drinl out in the lobby if we brought our own alcohol. We're looking into getting a shuttle since one isn't provided by the hotel.

I spoke with them and they told me that they now provide a shuttle to JT and a few other places, I could have sworn they said that they have a shuttle for the Inn at NHP as well... I would ask.

Also, they told us that everyone can hang out in the lobby or maybe we will designate a suite for an after party or something...

I need to go in there, however they leave early and I never have time! I really want to take care of this situation as well.

They finally got back to me. This is true! They offer complimentary shuttle service for both Jericho Terrace and the Inn @ New Hyde Park. Do you think the limo company will let me cancel my shuttles???
