Okay, so we finally booked our honeymoon and we're staying at the Hyatt Regency in Kauii for 5 nights and Hyatt in Mauii for 6 (and we got the free buffet breakfast). Was wondering if anyone stayed at these places b4 and what they're like?
We actually got a good deal through Liberty Travel, but you have to play around with the #'s and I kept telling her it was between Liberty and Greathawaiivacations, but Liberty gave the better deal

Didn't stay at them but, stayed near them in both Maui and Kauai.
They are both beautiful hotels! The free breakfast is huge too because breakfast gets quite pricey (as do other meals but, it's hard to justify paying over $50/day for breakfast).

FYI The Hyatt in Kauai is now a grand Hyatt Hotel. It was the best hotel I have ever stayed with. The free breakfast is AMAZING

We stayed at both in June. I loved everything about both hotels and both islands. You will not be disappointed. You where smart in getting the breakfast included. We did this also. It saves you $50 a day. You must make reservations in advance for the Beach house restaurant in Kaui. It has an amazing view of the ocean and you can watch the surfers. Make reservations for around 6-6:30pm so you will get a seat by the window and you will be their for sunset. This was also the best meal we had while in Hawaii. Call before you leave for your honeymoon, this is what I did.
