My sister had her wedding at the Hamlet Windwatch..just next door and it was a very nice wedding. We all stayed at the Hyatt....which was very nice as well. Their hotel prices were a bit steep compared to others on LI but oh well!
We looked at this RH and we really liked it but we found another place we liked better. But they were very nice to us and mindful of our budget when we talked to them. I would have been fine had I wound up having my wedding here! I also thought the hotel was pretty nice and they seem to have some nice grounds for outdoor pics (I didn't pay tons of attention though because I am a winter wedding).
I am having mine there..Leafgirl has hers there...ask away!!
How has your experience been so far?
It's been ok..since they are mainly for hotel stays, we aren't the 'priority' as of now but once we get closer to the date, I have heard they will be better..this coming from my cousin who does hotel sales and also from leafgirl(beth). We talk to Doris' assistant,Roberta, who is sweet!!! I am rambling..sorry...we really love the look of the hotel and all it has to offer and it's one wedding at a time etc..the CH room is amazing!
Are the ceilings high? Is there a view of the golf course from the CH?
the ceilings are pretty hugh, the CH room is like two stories high..I believe there is a view of the golf course but can't tell you for sure bc I never asked due to the wedding being in march.
We looked at that place. It was very nice and the prices were amazing. Ultimately it was too far away and we found another place that fit us better. But I did like it there.. I LOVED the lady who showed us around.. she was sooo sweet. I almost wish she was still working with me at the location we did book.
