Re: Hydrangea Question
3$ is about right but it also depends on what color, and what time of year the darker colors are a little more expensive.

Re: Hydrangea Question
I paid $4.50 per stem from onlinewholesaleflorists.com. They were beautiful.

Re: Hydrangea Question
I have no idea what the per stem is, but they are the predominant flower in my everything and my budget is not high. LA Blossom is my florist.

Re: Hydrangea Question
Ugh... I'm having the same problem. Three out of four florists so far had very comparable prices. With 6 hydrageas and roses my bouquet was running around $60... then another florist told me she pays $9. a stem for hydrangea!! She's a family friend and was the only florist I met with so far who really wanted to 'plan' my space. now I'm more confused than ever.
She did have some good points but all I can see now is $$$$$$$$$.

Re: Hydrangea Question
One florist I met with quoted me $7-9 for white or blue (since they are the most common) and $9-$14 depending on other colors. Burgandy/Wine is the most expensive & the hardest to get with the green one not too far behind. Go figure I wanted burgandy...guess we're gettin something else!
How are yu thinking of using them? Maybe its something you can incorperate on your own?

Re: Hydrangea Question
I cant remember the cost, but I used them for an Oct wedding...so they were out of season...and prob. cost more, but thats the only flower I wanted. I shopped around based on that, and ended up working with heidi from sugar magnolias...they turned out great (we did the dark purples)
