Hypothetical Question...
If you order a wedding dress and pay the deposit, then change your mind, do you have any obligation to that store? Do you just lose your deposit? Or do you have to pay the remaining balance for the dress?

Hypothetical Question...
I think you would just loose your deposit. If you are having second thoughts, Id go back and see if I could find another dress there so you dont loose your deposit

Hypothetical Question...
Aside from dress regret I think I'm having store regret! I haven't seen a single good review of the store that I bought my dress in and I just feel like I made a bad choice. Thanks for the info!

Hypothetical Question...
i had dress regret...and major store regret (and my store had great reviews- Bridal Reflections- but I had a TERRIBLE experience with them). i was able to choose a new dress but at that time was obligated to buy at that store. i also called the very next day so they had not put the order in yet. they did however charge me MORE money for the cheaper dress I chose. They said the one I chose originally could be discounted but the new one could not. all of a sudden they had no military discount. basically, they knew they had me, so they knew i was stuck at that point. if you are having dress regret, call the store asap

Hypothetical Question...
I spoke to my saleswoman the next morning and she said the order was placed and that she would call me after 4pm with the confirmation and date it would come in and never called. I've had such bad anxiety since saying yes, I literally cry every night. It's so awful! I feel like this is going to ruin wedding planning for me. I don't have any drive to plan anything anymore. I feel like I lost my inspiration or something.

Hypothetical Question...
omg i totally lost my drive after my dress shopping in august/sept and have just now gotten back into it bc we booked a rehearsal space i love- however im all about that now, and still not into the wedding! BR did the same with me. i called the next day and they said it was already put in but they would call and try to stop it and never called me back. i called them back and they had stopped it...but i was bound to BR. i honestly don;t think the order was ever put in bc it was labor day weekend. the 2nd consultant i worked with there was much better (the first was SO awful) but when it came time to pay, i was excited bc i picked a cheaper dress (by a couple hundred) and all of a sudden i owed them $200 extra. i once again left aggravated. still kind of have dress regret but it may just be because i have such a sour taste about the store. the one good thing is that i do trust BR to do the alterations. if you are worried about your store in that regard, get it altered else where and tell them you moved your wedding to an earlier date.

Hypothetical Question...
Wow, which BR did you experience this at? I'm very disappointed to hear this as a BR bride. I think there should be a mandatory 72 hours cooling off period when you can change your mind without consequence.

Hypothetical Question...
Where did you get your dress?!? maybe we can help you with locating store policy etc!!!!I know there are stores that have bad reviews but sometimes people just get overworked over small things which can skew reviews. I got my dress from Paradise Bridal. They don't have good reviews, however, I had an extremely positive experience and they have been wonderful thus far.

I ordered from Paradise as well and I have no bad experience to post as of yet. I worked with Cherise and she was nothing short of amazing. I figure, everyone has bad experiences. I worked with a manager and if I do end up having problems towards the end (fingers crossed, I won't) then I will deal with it then. I feel like if I stress myself out over other peoples experiences, I'm asking for a bad one myself. I plan on remaining plesant with them and my Aunt ordered her dress from them and its in already! Just try to remain optimistic and don't wish bad things on yourself. Keep your chin up! It will all work out!
