I <3 My vendors.....Kind of long

I was up all night wondering if I should call my vendors and let them know what happened with my cousin and her boyfriend (Killed in a motorcycle accident Thursday night) so that they know what to expect. Theres a good chance she will be buried next friday (day before the wedding) or even the day OF the wedding, so I wasn't sure if I should tell them so that incase people are just not in the mood to dance or whatever, that they understand why.

So i decided to call. So far I have only spoken with the church and the DJ and they have been amazing. I left a msg for TP but I haven't heard back from him yet (I called 5 mins ago, he prob had a wedding last night).

Everyone has been so amazing and so supportive. I am using a lot of the same vendors my sister used, and 1 month before my sister got married, my grandfather passed away. They have all been so great to work with and so understanding and supportive of my entire family.

I just hope that somehow this can still be a happy day in light of everything going on right now. My family is devistated and I don't know what I can do to help people get through this.

My heart goes out to you and your family! I hope this doesn't come off as cold but maybe your wedding will serve as a joyous distraction in this time of sorrow. Again I'm so very, very sorry for your loss!

You will get through this and have an amazing day! I'm sure your family will relish the chance to get together and celebrate the beginning of your lives together, and it's great that your vendors will be able to make that happen in a sensitive way.....

I'm sure your family will find happiness in your day It will be a good thing for everyone in the midst of the sadness of their loss

Although it is a sad time, try to celebrate life on your special day. I am sure it is what your cousin would have wanted.

i can't even imagine how you must be feeling.. i hope you can your family can pull through this pain..

Everyone is going to know that your cousin would have wanted you to have the most beautiful day ever and eventhough its a time of sorrow people will remember that she would have wanted everyone to be happy for you and celebrate I think that will help with the sorrow that day

just wanted to update....TP called and was so sweet. He was telling me about other weddings that he has done where there were similar (if not worse, if you can even imagine it) situations and how the families just somehow pull it together...just hearing that made me feel so much better. For now I think i'm kind of just flying through this and i can't let it hit me bc if it does i'll just lose it. My friends, my family, and my vendors have been absolutely amazing. When something like this happens it's so hard to imagine that this is reality and that this has happened before because it's just so devastating, but all of my vendors have been through this before and it was nice to know that they were so appreciative of the call and so supportive. I'm still trying to be excited about this.....it's my wedding day, and somehow, i'm sure it will be just fine.

Angela, I'm so sorry for your loss. I've been thinking of you and how awful this is. I wish there was something I could say or do but all I can say is how terribly sorry I am.
