Hi ladies! Hope all of you are enjoying your wedding planning. I think i have reached my peak with these showcases all though i have won some amazing prizes. Is this horrible? lol. Btw we have been to four showcases. Me any my FH have decided to do one more which will be at our venue and that will be it. We are both ready to begin booking our vendors so when January comes around we will begin to pay them off along with our venue. This will gives us the opportunity to budget out everything. When 2012 comes around i just want to worry about my dress. bm dresses and favors and thats it. Is this a good idea or should i wait till next year to book with some vendors. I need some advice...Thank you for hearing me!

I am getting married in March and I already booked my photo and D.J. You can def. start booking if you want or you can wait. Like you said I wanted to have an idea where I was standing money wise by the new year but were giving small payments spread over time just in case.

Hey gurl I already booked my photo, video and DJ/MC. You can def. start booking if you want or you can wait until next but still check your favorite vendors if they are not book up yet...

No its not bad LOL...I have not been to bridal showcase in forever and i have everything booked expect for the limo but really the only thing im probably going to go back to is the one at westbury manor were im getting married ...but all the shows are really there for is to give you ideas really and if u have places in mind to see dont worry about it ....and some of them really you seen it b/f really LOL

Definitely understandable and not horrible! I went to 2 shows this wk and was supposed to go to another one tonight but FH was busy and even if he wasn't we had enough (for now).
If you know what vendors you want to go with then start booking them as soon as your ready. Especially the most important to you. You want to make sure you have who you want and if you book things this year you'll lock in those 2011 prices!
I have my RH, photo and video booked. Not sure if I'll book anything else until next year but then again who knows.

When you know what you want, go for it!!!!! I love going to the shows still bc I find new ideas, and to be honest, i just love the mommy & me time! I find myself only focusing one one vendor at a time though. I feel that I have no interest in invitations, favors and officiants just bc I'm not up to that yet!
