if you dont want to put your parents names on it because of that..just put a little note in it that say

if you dont know us were are the children of..so and so..please send your envelope to..and put your address

just thought id be of some help

It's gorgeous! And you're fine without your parent's names. We did just Together with our Parents.....and we put our first middle and last names on it. Your last names are on there so there shouldn't be too much confusion. I'm sure your parents are telling people that their children are getting married.

i love it and i like the wording - actually we might copy it word for word for our invitation (i just showed FH ) - at first i just wanted to put FH and my name and not include our parents names but i think together with their families is good for us....are you inviting people you dont know? we are inviting some family members that i havent seen for years but im sure they will know its my wedding by word of mouth and when they see my last name - and friends of our parents that are being invited will obviously know they are being invited because im sure our parents talk to their friends about our wedding

It just works for us and if you read other posts in this thread, my parents just separated, so I can't bring myself to have to write my moms name alone, ya know? Mostly everyone coming is expecting an invitation or knows about the wedding, so hopefully we won't have anyone totally cluless
