So today was our official move in day...we spent all day moving shiz into the apartment and setting stuff up...there is stuff EVERYWHERE right now lol.
At the end of the day I went back to the house to grab some more things...I'm still not fully moved out yet as most of my clothes are at my parents' place, but as I was saying goodbye I got really upset because I realized I'm never going to live with my Mommy and Daddy ever again. I've lived in that house my entire life and now I'll never live there again. I held it together for my parents but when I got back to the apartment (which, btw is only across town from my parents) I started crying for real!! I felt so bad for FH...I really am happy to be living with him but I am so close to my parents...ugh I'm such a loser!! I'm 24 years old and I'm such a baby!!

don't feel bad when i move out in about a month i am going to cry like a baby - more because everytime i think about leaving my 7 yr old sister i get so upset - she is going to cry so bad

I teared up all over again reading this...but only because you girls made me feel sooooo much better about it. FH just set up our wireless router so I was finally able to get on here and see all these responses...I really love you girls!!! I know that if I have nobody else to turn to I can count on you ladies!!

You are not a loser at all!! I did the samething. It is the realization that a phase of your life is over. However, a new one has begun!!!
Change is always kinda scary, but it is exciting too!! I am sure your parents were a little sad to see you leave too. You probably were all being brave for eachother, but all feeling the same emotions.

Aww, that doesn't make you a loser at all! I cried one year on NYE because I had always spent it with my family. I went away with some friends to some hotel and it was boring. I regretted not being with my parents and cried at midnight. Btw, I was like 23..that was ONE night!

It's definitely an adjustment; and as happy as you are to live with FH now; it's also a big change and a sign of growing up leaving your parents.
Trust me I was 25 and I was sad too! And I'm literally 10 minutes from my parents!
