I Am A Mrs and it was FABULOUS!!! UPDATED WITH PICS!!!!
I have to go pack for Hawaii but I wanted to just come on to say I am officially a Mrs. Yesterday was fabulous.
The weather was gorgeous.
The church, St. Patricks in Bay Shore was wonderful. Phillis was great and Father Tom was an absolutely fabulous speaker.
Lands End is the most amazing place ever. Lands End brides, I can't even say you have nothing to worry about... i would rather go further and say you are in for the most amazing experience EVER. I felt like a million dollars from the minute I arrived, if there is ever such a thing as over attentive Marietta and our bridal attendant were guilty. I had a string hanging off my dress, Marietta was there with scissors. I went to change from my flip flops back to my fancy shoes, Marietta was under me within seconds changing my shoes. Every time I came back to the table I had a fresh Malibu Bay Breeze waiting. My guests all said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. People are RAVING about the food, the service and the overall atmosphere. The place looked fabulous. I felt like a bride on Platinum Weddings.
The band A Current Affair was FANTASTIC. People were dancing from the very first note they played, before any food was served. Everyone said the band was the best they ever heard and if you closed your eyes you would think you were listening to the real artists. I had as many compliments on the band as I did on the place. I couldn't thank them enough last night.
But by far the most amazing part of the whole day was our entrance by boat into the reception. We came in on a 58 ft bridge SeaRay. The boat was amazing. We had so much fun on it just going from my parents house to the reception. We were partying and drinking champagne on the boat for about 45 minutes. But pulling in and seeing everyone along the dock was so great. I felt like a celebrity. The pics are amazing with our bridal party on the bow of the boat.
I will post pics later. My friends are already starting to put them on facebook.
I can't wait to do my full review!!! I may work on it in the airport if we get stuck at LAX due to the wonderful weather heading towards Hawaii.
