I instructed my DOC not to let anybody enters the ceremony after it starts.

I see nothing wrong with it; I was going to tell my DOC and BM but it slipped my mind. I'm glad that I forgot because shuttle service got messed up and some friends of ours nearly missed the ceremony. They slipped in but I didn't know about it until weeks later.
Totally up to you but I definitely don't see anything wrong with it!

i dont think so. and also it is a good idea to put the start time about 15min to 1/2 hour earlier so that people will be there on time. my sister's ceremony started at 630 and she put 600 on the invite. This is especially helpful if you are getting married at the hall. b/c if people are streaming in late and you dont start on time you might lose time from your CH. My church is at 300 and i am putting 245 on the invite.
