You're right, you don't have to justify yourself...thats not what I meant. I just mean calling her yourself before she can come to you and just being like I don't want you there, you're not coming and if you show up I'll have you kicked out - end of story, maybe she won't give your MOH such a hard time...who knows!

I'm so glad I have a small family - that and we don't talk to anyone on my father's side...

I am in a very similar situation. I have a cousin I can't stand. He literally makes me sick to my stomache to see him. I could care less if I ever saw him again and I definately did not want him invited to my wedding. But my entire family was like you have to invite him...he's family. If you don't you'll be starting a war. So to make my grandmother happy (who i love to death) he'll be invited. It just isn't worth all the aggrevation for me. But I think, from what I read, you are a much stronger person than I and I would stick your ground if your that certain you don't want her there. Good luck

T~ this is your day and it would be silly to invite someone who you and Ronnie don't want there. You guys have to do what you want. We had are having a similar problem with inviting family, and just inviting them because they are family, I haven't seen some of these people since my mothers funeral almost 3 years ago..

You can't pick your family, but you CAN pick who you decide to :

1. like
2. love
3. invite to you e-party
2. invite to your wedding
etc, etc.

R&T- this is YOUR party and you do not have to invite your friend's sister. She isn't YOUR sister. I would just tell my friend that she is not responsible for your guest list and that if her sister has an issue with it, then let the sister call you. I have a feeling your best friend has been put in the middle of this. Are the parent's invited? Any other siblings? Do you think the parent's are upset that their daughter is being left out? You can just say that you need to draw the line somewhere. You cannot invite everyone's siblings or else you would have a hundred more people coming.

Umm..

She is my first cousin. My mother and her mother are sister.. her sister is MY MOH....

She is 34 yrs old..

And I am not having her.. and if she puts her sister in the middle she won't hear the end of it!
