I am about to go BRIDEZILLA on Macy's **UPDATE**

I ordered my gown from them & they told me 9-10 months for delivery & it came in on schedule. I also ordered my 2 veils & hair jewelry from them in April 2005. I called in the middle of January & the manager told me that it would be another 2 weeks, so I waited & waited for the call & nothing. I called last night & they told me that they would call the company & get back to me today. I told them if it is not in by Friday that I am cancelling & want my money back. I just called & they said that they haven't heard back from the company yet, but said it should be there by Friday-how do they know that if they didn't speak to them yet????

Sorry so long, but should I wait until the end of the day to see if I hear from them or just call back now & cancel the order?

ETA: Under 3 months to go & haven't had a hair trial yet because my SH!T isn't in yet!


UPDATE: Called Macy's to find out why they have not called me back yet-she told me that she still has not gotten a call back from the place making the items. I got their number & spoke to someone immediatley that told me the order will 'probably' ship this week...SORRY but 'probably' isn't good enough, so I cancelled it. I then called Macy's back about my refund & she said she would speak with the other company & call me back....she's got 1 hour or I am going there after work. I don't hink I am being a brat, but 11 months to make a veil & some hairpins-I don't think so. I bet they only placed the order when I called in January

I think wait till Friday and then cancel don't wait on them I don't trust them ... read below for why!

I don't trust Macy's (herald sq) a coworker's family friend ordered her dress etc from them and with 3 months to go called cause she hadn't heard anything still and found out that they never even placed the order but yet they had taken her money for the dress like 6 months earlier! They told her tuff luck and that they couldn' t do anything for her! I told my dress place that story and they said that there is soooooo much they can do those people are just being mean! They provided suggestions for me to offer her.

I feel your pain...I am in the same situation. Haven't had my trials yet either b/c dress and veil haven't come in!! Sooo annoying!! I would wait it out though...hang in there!
