I am an abnormal girl because

I hate talking on the phone. All of my friends talk on the phone all the time - about life, their boyfriends, gossip, whatever. I HATE the phone - I never call up people just to talk cause I would rather just make plans and talk in person (or even email). And when I am on the phone, I am dying to get off - even if I love the person. Sorry random, but I just realized this week that I am the only girl I know who doesn't chat on the phone.

So how are you not a 'typical' girl?

Same... I'm not much of a phone person. I zone out fairly quickly.

I also hate to shop... any kind of shopping! I hate the mall especially.

I hate to shop. I never go to the mall or to a store 'just to look', I need a reason to go.
If I am getting boots, I go to the boot section and I don't even look at the sandals.

I hate the phone. When my cell phone dies, I don't charge it for days.

Also, I'm not a mani/pedi kind of girl. I'll get it done once in a while, but I hate people touching my feet and I feel so awkward getting my nails done. Rather do it myself.

me too! In my entire life I have gotten my nails done once (prom) and have never gotten a pedi. I told my sis I would do my own toes for my wedding cause I don't like people touching my feet - ever

I am an abnormal girl in that I do not excessively worry about shaving my legs. In the summer time, when it's 'sun dress' time, I definitely do it, but other than that, I don't really do it a lot. Shocking, I know.

I'm sooo not a phone person. E-mail fine, but phone....ugh! I keep my cell phone off most of the time because you get trapped into 2 hour phone conversations...

I'm also not much of a phone person, I was never on the phone a lot as a kid/teenager and I'm still not like that. I don't really enjoy it bc you can't see the person, I'd rather talk in person. Email is ok tho, for some reason I'm fine with that, and message boards of course!!

And I'm not into shoes or bags either, I've got a few but I'm not someone who has to buy a whole new collection every season or goes to the store just to see 'what's new'.

Plus I don't wear MU unless I'm getting dressed up. Even then I have no clue what I'm doing with colors and 'tones'.

I'd say I'm an abnormal girl because I am not into shoes. I have a pair for different things (dress, causal, boots, sandals, etc.) but I am not adventurous at all.

This is pretty much me too. Never been a big shoe person.

I used to be a big phone talker but not since like high school!!!

Sounds good to me

I am soo not into shoes - I'm not adventurous at all with them (I think I've worn my black chunky heeled loafer shoes almost every day to work since September - my feet get cold very easily - so unless it's HOT I prefer socks)

Bags either, I have one that I use. I just can't get into spending a lot of money on different ones to go with different outfits (ok, except for if it's a wedding or really dressy event, I have one cute black purse for that purpose).
Plus, I wouldn't want to have to keep moving my cards and stuff from one to the other.

I do however, like to talk on the phone.

And I love LOTR and like Star Wars.

This is totally me too, I even get frustrated talking w/ parents/FIL's & sometimes FH, just don't like the phone. When I worked in an office I would do anything to avoid the phone, letting it go into vm.

I am also not into bags/mu

I am a huge Mets fan, not so much anymore, but years ago I knew the stats of every Mets player, knew his order in the line-up, knew who was pitching every game, knew everything. I think I'd intimidate my dates as I could hold my own w/ his friends in baseball conversations (more so than him).

I could care less about 99% of the celebrities out there. Who cares?!
