I am annoyed at a couple of my friends.. venting again...

I don't know if it has anything to do with the fact that their parents are divorced, or one of them is divorced, the other can never stick to one relationship longer than 3 months, but I am getting TIRED of hearing these stupid comments. For example: I talk about the wedding. And I say I am getting nervous. One immiedately says: Are you getting cold feet? UH NO!!! I am nervous that I won't fit into my dress, the $$ will work out, I won't ruin my make-up the day of by balling all over the place, I pray we have okay weather....
If they ask how are things with you and FH and 99% of the time I speak to these friends at work so I am extremely busy when I talk to them, I say okay. I hear: Is everything okay? Are you guys doing alright? What are you talking about I really want to say! I said okay. That means OK! Take it for what it is.
If I am not in a good mood, again I am at work, and I guess they can sense I am frustrated by the tone of my voice, they ask is everything okay with you and FH? I wasn't even talking about my relationship. I was talking about how busy I am and they turn it into is everything okay in your relationship!
The ONE time I mentioned to one of them that FH and I had an argument she says: You guys are still together right? W T F?? I flat out said: Everybody argues Jane! Every relationship argues! I don't know why on earth you would think something like that. I am not going to end my relationship with FH over something silly!

How frustrating!!!! Just enjoy the fact that you have a STABLE relationship

You know the saying - misery loves company- well your friends are a perfect example. Some people get off on hearing bad things about other people.

I know someone like this, well knew because she and I do not speak anymore.

The one girlfriend with the inconsistent love life probably thinks everyone's relationship is like hers.

Are they in their own relationships? Some people just don't know yet what it is like to be in love. Just tell them to back off a bit.

One is actually in a relationship right now but after her divorce it was really brutal.
The other for some reason her dates don't last long. She is a great person. I don't know what is wrong with these two.

One of my BM's just got out of a 2 year courtship and she never says anything like that to me.

That is such jealousy. I have a few friends who act the same way. They are constantly asking me if me and my FH are ok. It's almost like they don't want us to be because we have been together for ten years and are getting married. Just enjoy your day and concentrate on you and your new hubby. Everything else will fall into place

Larryswife congrats on 10 Years!!! My 6 year anniversary is next Thursday.
I don't know what is wrong with people. I just wish they would zip their lips if they have nothing but negative stuff to say to me.

if it makes you feel any better - FH's friends had a whole conversation the other day in front of him about how much marriage stinks and how they never want to get married and all of the terrible things that come with getting married.

personally, i think it's jealousy and people who ar miserable want to know that they aren't alone.
