Congratulations! I'm glad everything went so well including the weather. It's nice to know that weatherplanner.com isn't always right - it can get you nervous if you see that your day is supposed to be ugly. Any advice for us that you wouldn't have thought of prior the the big day? and so...how's life as a married woman so far? Are you leaving us for the 'Newlyweds Only' board??

I am back
The other website that LI weddings just began - all the married folks sharing about marriage issues. You can access it from the choices at the the top of the index page for this chatroom (near where you would edit your profile or search).
I think everything that I did was fine and I can't think of anything else differently except don't be soooo nervous but I wasn't nervous about marrying afterall I was with him 11 years but nervous about saying my vows and making a mistake so right before I walked down the isle I cried and nobody expected that but I stopped and was fine and said my vows with no problem. I can't say I would do anything different at all.

I am back-Thanks for saying this
Thanks so much for reconfirming for me a belief I have had all along. That this is such an amazing time-the planning stage of the wedding. We have been trying to enjoy this as much as possible and savor the excitement leading up to the big day. So far we have been having a lot of fun and despite things not always proceeding perfectly, it is very pleasurable. You all say how quickly that day goes so this planning stage is just as much a part of the excitement.
I had the same thing happen to me. When I asked the ladies and gents on this board how to 'act' surprised, one person suggested to focus on how MANY people were actually there...and you may actually be surprised at some people that show up...like my fiance's aunt from Houston flew in...THAT was a surprise.
