I am back
I was married the weekend before last and went away on the honeymoon in Puerto Rico. When we got back Sat, the storms here took out my computer and phone, so we had to wait all day Sunday for the cable guy. The computer has a virus and I am trying to upload pics but it won't let me. My DH said he was going to try an copy the disc onto the computer. I am also trying now to upload with the SD through the printer. It is going to take awhile, maybe I will have it tomorrow. I will have to try and get the time to do the review soon. The day went almost amazingly smooth. My mother showed up a little late at the hotel room, to start the day, so we ended up being behind schedule and had to cut a picture spot out. My sister was able to make it. The weather was unbelievably perfect-70s and sunny with little wind. We took some amazing pictures at Cedar Beach. I trashed the dress b4 the ceremony ![]()
My cell phone died and I had to use the photographers. I realized at the beach that I forgot the marriage license-oops-had to call mom to get it. I thought there was an issue with the shuttles, which I tried to deal with as we were trying to do the family pics b4 the ceremony, I don't know what that was about. My brother was able to walk my mom down the aisle, he had a second operation 2 weeks before, but it worked out. My daughter and sister melted at the ceremony. The officiant said it was the most emotional ceremony she ever did. I heard rave reviews about the cocktail hour and the amount of food and how good it was. We had 2 small fires, at the tables, which were funny. People noticed how much effort we put into the details and are still talking about it. The tables looked great. The only issue was the florist forgot to put water in the floating centerpieces and they burnt out early. I thought the photographer and videographer were good, but we only got 395 pictures, many the same. I thought there would be more. I am waiting to see the video. I wasn't crazy about the dj, he messed the order of things up and I think he forgot to do the dances until the end. The sax/percussionist guy was outstanding and highly recommended. Our bridal attendant was great, she packaged everything up so quickly at the end of the night and was very attentive to our needs. I didn't have to use the cane either, although I had a limp people noticed. I think the night went so smoothlly with very minor issues. People had a great time and it was a day we will never forget. I will post pictures when I can. I will ramble another time about the honeymoon.
