Ok, here goes, I remember all the lectures when growing up and in high school that you CAN get pregnant while you have your period - my question is ovulation is 2 weeks after your period - so CAN you get pregnant if you are not ovulating and anytime of the month? Thanks all !

You have to ovulate to get pregnant but you don't necessarily ovulate 2 weeks after your AF. Everyone is different. You can ovulate really early like on day 10 or you can ovulate much later. It depends how long of a cycle you have and there are always exceptions.
