DISCLAIMER: Not to offend anyone using this color AT ALL. I have seen many other weddings w/ this color and they are BEAUTIFUL. I still LOVE the color. ......................................
OK- so I just watched Bridezillas and after the idiot biotch with the 'Tiffany & Co. themed wedding' (she was so frikin annoying)- I am doubting using tiffany blue/robins egg/aqua for my wedding. I don't know- I just viewed her as trashy, so now I am thinking that the Tiffany blue is guilty by association....lol
I am not planning on doing a Tiffany 'theme', per say, but was goining to use that color BM dresses and MAYBE have the favors on the tables wrapped in tiffany blue w/ white ribbon. Now i am thinking it's tacky or pase, or whatever..... Should I use the BM dresses, but icksnay (sp?) the favor idea???
UUUGHH- Please help me not feel like the trashy girl!!!!! LOL I don't know if the chick just ruinied it for me....lol

no way..you are sooo not trashy. I think of tiffany & co.. i think of class.. (thats my eparty theme by the way.. and i'm super classy..lmaoo)... she was just rude and crude. It's the way she handled the day and herself.. not the color. I mean by all means if you feel uncomfortable with it.. i would say change it cause you don't want to regret it later.. but it's def. far from trashy. The color is beautiful even if it doesnt have a Theme behind it.. and i love BM dresses in that color. Don't worry girl.. take a few days to look at your ideas and think about it.. and forget bridezilla.. she is what it says

IMO: I would say to go with the dresses if you like it but I personally wouldn't do the favors. What other colors were you doing with it or was it just going to be the Tiffany blue and white? If you incorporated another color into it to take away from the 'Tiffany' look of it maybe you would be happier with it? Or maybe if you wanted those boxes, do a white box with the Tiffany blue ribbon instead of the other way around so it is more subtle.

Yes, she was trashy. BUT, if you do the color right and have pretty dresses, then its not going to be trashy! She made stuff look cheap, but you look at what she did that you didn't like, and just dont do it. And it will look beautiful!! Dont worry about it!

ok i am the biggest PINK girl there ever was but if FH totally hated the idea of pink at our wedding and i was forced to choose something else i would have done the tiffany blue color scheme. i even love the idea of wrapping the favors tiffany style.
it's just such a beautiful color and i don't think anyone will think of that trashy girl, even if they have seen the show. you will do it SO much nicer, and it will be next year...they'll have forgotten all about her and even if they haven't they'll realize that that girl was just gross, and that tiffany blue can look amazing, since it will at YOUR wedding!!

But I saw the cake and was excited to see the rest of her party because I assumed her theme was Tiffany Blue. There's alot of brides on here who have done (or are doing) that theme as well and they'll definitely side that it's not trashy. It was probably her attitude that was trashy...not the color

oh yeah- her cake was awesome. It was awesome when they moved it a messed it up a bit- I really hated her....lol ..that poor man!

You have to remember why the show was made...... for shock value, and to show just how insane brides can be. Don't let one trashy girl on TV affect your color choice!!!

We are not using white flowers we are using bright and soft pinks, and greens and yellows. So, it wont be exactly like hers at all. And our cake will be white with pink roses. I think I just dont like how she used classy tiffany and was not classy at all...lol

I'm using it as well, and I was actually happy to see it on tv, she defiantly was trashy, but it actually made her wedding seem better i thought because the color was just so pretty! .. I was actually putting together my tiffany boxes last night, and I can't get over how cute there going to look! I hope one trashy girl doesn't affect your color choice!

I understand where you are coming from, however, the girls here are right. You can't be trailor trash and use Tiffany as your theme and automatically be classy... you have to be a classy person to pull off a classy theme, so you have nothing to worry about!!!
