FH and I debated staying local this summer to save some $. We spent almost 3 weeks in Europe last summer which was pricey --but -- we found a great (and far less expensive) option. We are going to Cancun for 6 nights late in the summer . We are staying at Riu Palace and two couples we are great friends with a joining too! I can't wait even though I have no idea what to expect in cancun that time of year!!!
ps - thanks to the girls that suggested an all inclusive cancun vacation to me - its is so much cheaper than I expected!

That is fabulous. I have to wait 10 weeks for this vacation but I am just so happy to have something to look forward too that is not too distant!

Congrats and be careful.. the last time I was in Mexico in the summer I got so sunburnt my friends had to help me get dressed bc I couldn't move!!
But that is also bc I'm a moron and didn't realize how much stronger the sun was.
