FH and I debated staying local this summer to save some $. We spent almost 3 weeks in Europe last summer which was pricey --but -- we found a great (and far less expensive) option. We are going to Cancun for 6 nights late in the summer . We are staying at Riu Palace and two couples we are great friends with a joining too! I can't wait even though I have no idea what to expect in cancun that time of year!!!
ps - thanks to the girls that suggested an all inclusive cancun vacation to me - its is so much cheaper than I expected!

I'm jealous!! Although we are going to my parents Florida house in July for a week so I can't complain :)
Never been to Cancun though, you'll have a blast!

I am so jealous! I don't think we'll be going on any. And if we do it'll be a cheapy weekend trip.

THAT'S AWESOME! i just got back from Riu Palace las Americas yesterday. it was awesome!

Sounds great!! Have fun!! I have been there in the end of July and during August . . . both had beautiful weather and it was very HOT!! Just be careful that sun is mega strong! I was such a lobster!
Cancun is soooo much fun!! You will have such a good time.

The RIU Is insanely beautiful!!! FH and I almost stayed there... in playa del carmen right?
YOu will have an amazing time!! Cancun is really great...def a good place to party but also an good place to relax!!!
