I am FURIOUS that people are cancelling last minute!!!

Within 4 days, I've had SEVEN cancellations. I'm going to wait as long as possible to send over the table arrangements because this is the FOURTH time I've done them.

UGH! Any advice???

Roll with it!

We gave our RH the table arrangements the DAY BEFORE the wedding. You have the grunt work pretty much done, it won't be so bad!

Screw them anyway - they're missing out on the best wedding ever.

I would hold off and give the RH your seating chart a day or two before th wedding.

Why can't people just stick to what they RSVP'd.

did you already pay for them? I had a two day before cancellation (um, right AFTER i gave the final count and paid) and invited two of my friends for school and told them no gifts.

there's nothign to really do unfortunately and like Jenn said, their loss.

i would TOTALLY come! stupid school!

you know i would have... i'm kind of bummed actually; i should have NOT decided to go away this weekend since it's the first and last weekend i don't have classes all summer.

in the end i was SO happy that my two friends came. and they kept (somewhat) quiet about it so that no one else would be offended at school, not that I think they would be.

I am just SHOCKED. Esp. one of my friends who sent me this via EMAIL!
I’m so sorry to have to let you know that I will not make it up this weekend for the wedding.

As you know, I was really looking forward to sharing this special time with you and Adam, and had my airline ticket/hotel booked :- ( Unfortunately, my company is in the middle of re-pitching ____ (a huge account for us) and I must go to Detroit tomorrow to help our general market partners with the pitch and work through the weekend on the final RFP & pitch deck. I am really bummed, and truly apologize for any inconvenience this last minute cancellation may cause.



I will be thinking of you all weekend, and know you will be a truly beautiful and happy bride.

Aww, SIlvana. You're the best. Really! I appreciate ALL the times you've given such great advice and when things settle down we should all meet out on the North Fork for a day!!! I know you haven't been out there yet and it's so much fun!!

Ughh I totally feel your pain!!!
So far I've only gotten one cancel - my best friend's date - total B.S. reason. Luckily it doesn't affect my seating chart, and I didn't give my final count yet, but it is still so frustrating!!!

I'm 25 people under my min. b/c a group of FH's family that we thought for sure would come, aren't AND a few friends can't make it b/c they have 'stuff going on' and we thought for sure they would be there and I have a friend for 10 yrs that is suddenly going away that weekend. apparently the year and 2 month notice wasn't enough for her.

Same thing here. All of a sudden 'they have to work' etc. It's sooo frustrating! Letting myself vent now and I will get over it by tonight... Hopefully!!!

You will get over it..b/c I just had the same issue with my shower and once i got there, I didn't care that there were only 26 people there, They were 26 of the best people ever and I was sooo grateful for all that I got.

AND your wedding is Saturday! YAY!!!!!

ughhh I hate people- we just had fh's cousin do this since we invited him without his current flavor of the week

I am looking into murder for hire- maybe we can get a group rate?

i sent you an email on facebook did you get it? I would definitely do a North Fork outing - I'm dying to check it out. You are going to have SO much fun at your wedding - it's going to be amazing.

btw - totally uncool that he did that over email. you should not cancel over email! my cousin actually did that for her husband.... but i didn't get too mad b/c 1. i hadn't paid for him and 2. they are getting divorced
