I am geting so frustrated lately!

This summer has been terrible for us. The best thing that has happened to us was finally seting our date. My Fh father died on June 2 and he had no money. The kids had to take loans out to pay for the funeral. My Fh had to borrow 1,800 from his boss we were already having money problems before this. Just one week before paying that finished. My transmission went in our truck. Had to borrow 2275 from his sister. Now I have to pay that back. My cell phone is off, trying to keep up with the car payments. insurance payments, keeping the bank from closing our account.

Anybody have words of wisdom for us I feel so depressed that sometimes all I want to do is sleep and not get out of bed anymore.

Sorry to put this on everyone but I feel this website is my friends now. I love being on here.

just take everything day by day... relax... pay off one thing at a time. I know how you feel - when it rains it pours! ya know! As far as your bank closing your account... switch banks. I use NY Community Bank - they're in Stop and SHops and Pathmarks... there's no minimum amount that you need to keep in your banks. Focus on the good things like getting married! And visit LIW often for a few hugs and smiles!

I'm sorry things are so tough right now. I understand where you are at and here is my advise:

The bills will get paid when they get paid. Being sad isn't going to make the money appear.

Worry about paying one thing off at time so it doesn't feel so over whelming.

One thing I've learned is that in life your never going to have enough money because just when you think your getting ahead something else comes up. So you just have to learn to roll with the punches and concentrate of the good things in life.

I.e. you have a FI who loves you and wants to spend his life with you! And it's much easier to go through these things with someone than a lone.

She is right. Bad things tend to happen all at once....I learned something when my brother died- Don't sweat the small stuff. Just be lucky you have someone to love and that loves you. Everything will fall into place. And things happen for a reason-it's true. And
