I am getting married!!!!

So FH originally planned on getting married next year sometime. Parents wanted a large wedding lots of planning, me & FH not into it so much. So we have had this cruise planned for about a year and we just talked it over and we're getting married on the SHIP!!!! I am so excited, I have to go find a dress, I was thinking David's Bridal. I am from Michigan. I am so excited, should I tell parents before we go or wait till we get back. I really want to have fun and enjoy my day, I AM SO EXCITED. This is exactly what I wanted, and FH too.

Yes one day next week, we leave Thrsday to get on the ship (which leaves Sunday)

wow congrats!!!! brides on cruises are always so pretty!!

you can also get a pass for your family to watch you get married on the cruise before you leave port....then the family can get off the ship before you set sail....

or...they can go on the cruise too...but that option I don't think, is as much fun...

We really just wanted it to be intimate, just us two. We can share with the family when we get home. I can't believe it, I was thinking about it and FH called me at work and suggested we get married on the ship, I love him. He can always read me mind.

Can anyone post pictures of dresses--tea length, not to formal. Thanks!!!!!

I can get this one at a local bridal shop, I looked at it for another thing I was going to. But I think it is perfect for a cruise wedding

Congrats!! Sounds like a great idea. Good luck with it!! I would tell my parents beforehand, but it depends on your relationship with them & his parents too.

Both dresses you posted are nice, I like the 2nd one better though!

Sounds very familiar...we organised our wedding within a weeks notice too...we combined it with our trip to NY and got married there too! Yeah let the fun begin...

Oh - how exciting. FH and I are thinking about eloping too. We most likely will - we're just trying to figure out where. Too many beautiful places. That so exciting. I like the first dress - they're both pretty though.
