I was on duet's website the other day and there was a note on it about if you had the cd of all digital negatives on your contract, that you could get it now, and you don't have to wait until the end (which is what our contract had originally stated). So I emailed Sue and she got back to me right away and said the cd would be ready in about two weeks... I haven't done my album yet - but we had the pics all chosen - should I wait to get the cd before telling them the pics I want or is this just going to make it way too hard?

Ooo...thats tricky, and soooo tempting! If you think there might be some pics on there that you would be sad that you didn't see before you did your album...i say get it now! You don't want to regret your choices after the album is done and there is nothing you can do. Good luck!

I would wait if you can. I did get my cd and saw many that I would consider. They print out the ones they felt were good but I felt there were so many others.

I agree, we got our CD and it had 3,099 pics....that is out of control. I saw a few that I really like and are considering for my album. I would definitely wait.

Yeah, I know we were shocked. They only printed 684 proofs, so you can only imagine how excited we were when we got the CDs with the rest of our pictures taken that day.

thats about the same number we had printed - OMG are we going to get another 2500 pictures to Were a lot of the ones on the cd good? Or were they all duplicates and eyes closed pics?

I received my DVD of proofs and there were over 2000 pics. About 100 of them were bloopers (weird facial expressions) and another 200 were eyes closed etc. Then another 300 were duplicates. The rest were great pics!! Some of them I would use for an album and some of them are just great for memories.
I would definiteiy wait until you receive the CD!!!

I picked mine before. It was already way to hard for me... I saw some good ones on there, but Ill just make prints of those, Ya know?

Totally agree. I would have lost my mind if I had to go through all 2700 shots!

I just sent in 55 pictures to be printed from the CDs.... but then again I was pretty upset with their printing choices

I got 4 CD's and there are a few that I have no idea why they weren't printed..
