I am getting so excited!!!!

My wedding is next Sunday and I am getting so excited. With all the stress and appointments and everything it has been hard to sit back and relax and just enjoy the excitement but I am feeling it now. We met with the DJ last night for our final appointment so everything is starting to feel real. Tonight we pick up our wedding bands and go to the hall for our final appointment. I packed for the honeymoon the other night and its funny because I havent really thought of the fact that I will be on a 2 and a half week vacation soon, a real vacation I think I definitely overpacked. I have one 26' luggage filled with bathing suits, coverups, lingerie and day clothes adn then had to pack another 21' luggage for all my dinner clothes and my shoes. Not to mention we will have to pack a rolling tote for our toiletries

We just got our bedroom furniture delivered and our living room is getting delievered tuesday and the cable and phone is getting turned, granite countertops getting installed, bathroom vanities, cabinets, so much hecticness to get everything done but I can actually begin to get excited now that everything is almost done.

I cant believe the wedding is here, it felt like it was so far away and now it just crept up on me.

Did anybody else feel like this where you didnt get excited until the last minute?

that IS exciting!! Don't worry about overpacking. lol. No such thing. FH lives in Co and even if I'm only spending a week, there's still sooooo much I've gotta bring. FH is nervous about how much i'm gonna bring when I MOVE down there with him after the wedding.

Yea I guess you are right, I would rather have too much stuff then not enough We are definitely going to have to buy another bag when we are down there to bring home souveniers and stuff.

Last night I packed up the OOT bags and also wrapped whatever I could of the rd gifts - I am using the same choc. brown bags I bought for the oot bags - since we only have a few oot-ers getting a room in the hotel, I had a lot of bags that I could use. I also printed placecards yesterday, cut them into the ind. cards (I printed them on one big sheet of paper and then had to cut them to size) AND alphabetized them as my hall wanted ... I am picking up my rings tonight too ... over the weekend I am going through all the things I need to bring to the hall on monday for our final meeting ... and I am also picking up my dress on sunday! It's so nice to get it all done - although I think next week I will be freaking with nothing to keep me busy ...

I'm sure you will have something to keep you busy There is always one more thing to do This weekend I am moving all my stuff into my new house so next week I'm sure I will be busy getting stuff in order if I dont finish this weekend. Then next week I have a dentist appointment for cleaning/whitening, have to finsh getting the BP gifts together for the rehearsal dinner, buy all my toiletries for the honeymoon, bring everything to the hall and the RD is thursday. Then Friday I have a nail and massage appointment, saturday is a pedicure appointment and then the WEDDING will be here
