Well, with only 13 weeks to go, we finally got our act together this weekend and did tons of 'baby' stuff!
We went to Behr's and ordered the crib, two dressers (one of which is also the changing table), and our bedding set.
Then, we went to BRU and registered. We had so much fun! It's so exciting looking at all the 'equipment' and playing with stuff! I looked at DH at one point and said - I cannot believe we are looking seriously at strollers!!' It's really starting to hit home now (as if my basketball tummy and the gymnastics inside of it aren't real enough!!)
I met with a decorative painter on Wednesday and we made plans for the room. Now DH just needs to start his work in there and we need to shop for a carpet....suddenly I feel like time is running out!
Oh my God! We're really having a BABY!!!!

EXCELLANT! I know how u feel ...that time is rushing by. Try to get as much done as YOU can stnad to do- and have friends come over to help on the weekends. This way you dont feel that a lot is not done and your date is approaching!
one weekend I had my brother over ( painting the nursery), 2 of our friends( running to home depot and putting up storm doors with my hubby) and my inlaws ( painting) It was a white tornado weekend!

Thanks everyone for sharing my excitement! It really feels like time is flying by! I can only imagine what it will feel like when the baby is actually here!!!
Since we don't know the sex of the baby and want to be surprised we are trying to do the room pretty neutral - we are having the painter do a sky with clouds on the ceiling and down the walls about 6 inches. The rest of the walls will be a color wash in a green shade that should hopefully coordinate with our bedding set.
Here is a link to the crib (when you get there, click on Isabella then click 'next' till you get to the 5th one #3241 - that's the one, but without the canopy.) We also did not get the matching furniture - we got another set that we really liked better): Ragazzi Crib
For the bedding set, we got the Kidsline Millenium, but in Sage which is a brand new color so there are no pictures of it online yet...but here is a link to it in blue - if you scroll down on the page and look at the valance you can really see the pattern...I think someone else here also had this pattern - I love it!
The interesting thing about this color is that even though it is called 'sage' it is definitely more 'minty' than what I think of when I think sage - I'll take some pics to show you all!
