I am going crazy!!!!! HELP

every reception hall i want to look at, wants a minimum of 100 people. i am so upset. i am only inviting 65-70 people and i am having such a hard time finding a place that does small weddings. does anyone know of places that can do small parties?

I believe the Watermill (in Smithtown I think) will book a small wedding. I know someone who is getting married there at the end of the summer and they're only invited 60 people.

I think Cafe on the Green in Queens can handle a smaller party - and the grounds are pretty for pictures

The Metroplitan in GLen Cove has a 50 person minimum...........when you say that is how many u r inviting, do you mean that is how many invitations u are sending out or is that how many people you want to come to your wedding?

I think Manor East had a smaller ballroom or Swan Club.

Also, the Country House in Stony Brook- very quaint and charming. May be just right for you, take a look at it.

Try the Meadow Club in Port Jefferson. We are getting married in the bigger room but the smaller room would fit that many and it is just as nice and it has a private garden.

The Westbury Manor definaltly has a room which holds up to 65-70 people. It is on the second floor, has a small dance floor and even has a balconey. It is very nice and you could probably use their grounds to take picutres.

I just went to a party at a place in the city that does a lot of weddings. It was La Bella Epoque. It is a french resturant and the decor is really nice. It reminded me of the French Quarter. Also, where I am getting married has a 70p min. on Friday and 90p on Sat. It is beautiful.

My friend got married there...it was very nice. I only guaranteed 75 people for my wedding....I found that most places wanted 100, but because we chose off season (April), most places were willing to negotiate on the minimums.

also I know the East wind has the Country Gardens and the Westhampton Room to hold smaller receptions.

try the milleridge carriage house. the cottage is BIG, but i am pretty sure the minimum for the carriage house is 50 people.

Holds 50 - 130.

definetly the george washington manor, the milleridge carriage house, meadow club, fox hollow, i think accomodates smaller parties in some of their rooms, try crest hollow and woodbury cc as well.

Hi there!
You should definitely check the Westbury Manor. They have rooms that are small and will be perfect for the amount of people you have. The Milleridge Cottage as well. Also, you can try Villa Lombardi. One of my friends is getting married there this July and him and his fiancee only have 80 guests but they are having the wedding early Saturday. Woodbury Country Club, you will need a lot more guests.I think you can find a place for your amount of guests but it has to be probably either Saturday afternoon or early Sunday etc....Good Luck !!

I second the Country House. It's gorgeous. What about the Irish Coffee Pub or House?

I don't know if you are willing to look out east, but the Birchwood in Riverhead is really cute and ecclectic.
