every reception hall i want to look at, wants a minimum of 100 people. i am so upset. i am only inviting 65-70 people and i am having such a hard time finding a place that does small weddings. does anyone know of places that can do small parties?

try the milleridge carriage house. the cottage is BIG, but i am pretty sure the minimum for the carriage house is 50 people.

I'm getting married a the carriage hsoue. while the web says 50, the minimum for wedidgns is 75.
They have other parties there,s o the minimum is probbaly 50 for Showers & Sweet 16s & things.

A lot of peopel don't liek tha the coctail hour is either outside or inteh smae room, but ti's fien for me.

There are a bunch of us here that had that problem. There are a couple of other posts on the topic.
I think Stewert Manor Country Club was also mentioned as an option.

You should also look into hotels.
You'll have an easier time if you don't mind there being more than 1 wedding.

Do you have a preference of Naussau vs. Suffolk?

DEFINATELY check out Three Village Inn in Stony Brook!!!!!! It is very homey, right on the water in Stony Brook Harbor, and they have low minimums.

I just went to a wedding 2 weeks ago on a boat called the Nautical Princess...she had a little over 60 I think and it was nice. But, I don't know if a boat is something you'd like!

Larkfield Manor has 2 rooms that are small enough to have a low minimum. They are in East Northport.

I know Lenoards in Great Neck does small weddings my FBIL had a wedding of 60 thier.

thank you i just got back from looking at la grange inn, in west islip. there min. is 50. i really like it there. has anyone ever been there before? if you have, i would appreciate any info.
