I am going to kill my brother!!

He invited my father to my FH's bachelor party. I can't belive him. I left him a message that he better univite him. I told him that he should invite my father to dinner with my FH's dad and all the guys before they go out and do the stripper thing. So what does he do, he invites him for the evening. I am going to kill him. My father is very old fashioned and the last thing I want is for him to be there with FH drunk and going ga ga over strippers!! He'll hate my FH by the time the wedding comes around!!

Your letting you FH do the stripper thing??!? Yuck.. we decided not to go down that road it can only lead to trouble.. and that was FH's idea. I think that is the most disgusting thing a man about to get married can do...
your about to comit your life to another person.. do look at other women naked right before? I dont get the logic!!
It is gross that your father was invited though! Is your brother crazy?!

my brother was teasing me the other night that he's going to bring my FH to Tiujana (sp?) for the Bachellor Party.....He was talking about all of the crazy things that are oging ot happen.
I don't really have a rpoblem with him going to s srtip club. It's not for me....I can't stand strip clubs, but he's gone while we're dating. and I know that he thinks I'm much more beautiful than any of the women he sees...so I'm not really all that bothered by it. I'm kind of surprised at that actaully.
But my father WILL NOT be going with them!!!
Would your father even want to go? Does he understand where they are going to be?

My FH is also doing the stripper thing! I think its fine, I dont think its inviting trouble! I completely trust my FH. However he didnt feel comfortable doing this with my brothers and father etc...so he is having 2 (well 3 if you count work) bachelor parties. One low key and one with friends (I am sure it will be more wild)

I would kill my brother if he did that! No father wants to watch the man their little girl is about to marry oogling at naked women!

Trust me, FH does not want to do the whole stripper thing. He would be very happy just going to the bar with all his friends. It is his friends that are into the stripper thing and belive you must have it. I trust my FH 100% and know that he only loves me. I know I hve nothing to worry about. If he wanted another girl, he wouldn't have asked me to marry him. I am going to a strip club for my bachelorette party, why shouldn't he. I hope he has a great time!!!

ETA: I hope he has a great time, just without my father there!

I know how you feel. my fi and his friends are going to New Orleans for the weekend, next week- and my dad couldnt go and my dad wouldnt go.. he said no to my sisters fi bachelor party- they wound up going to dinner inthe city one night instead...

when is your bachelorette party- are you going to the city- we are probably going to a strip club- like you said we do it, why shouldnt they- besides girls are just as bad as guys- i went to hunkamania for my sisters bachelorette and boy were some of the girls getting crazy.. its not gross- its a matter of personal taste.. i also trust him enough that he would not do anything with those girls.. its all for fun... let the ocuntdown begin..

I personally think the 'stripper thing' is fine. If you can't trust the man you are about to marry, then you shouldn't be getting married. Alot of time the strippers are for the GM and the groom could care less.

It sounded from this post that it was about a trust thing.... that is why I said that.

I personally think strippers are nasty but I would 'let' my FI have them if he wated to do because I usually don't tell him what he can and can't do. Just my 2 cents worth!

What I ment by it would lead to trouble is why should you do something nasty and trashy like that when you can have a nice evening out all together.. or do something more respectable. I think any FH who does that has no respect for his FI

I don't think having children makes a difference or not in an opinion...and just b/c my fi is having strippers, doent mean he doesn't respect me... I don't think of my fiance as trashy or yucky for having strippers at his bachelor party. Like a previous post said, its mostly for the other uasually single groomsmen in the party. I don't have to like the idea but I am not going to think of my fi as being trashy or yucky for having strippers. and as I said before, some girls are just as bad!

I'm sorry, but my FH has nothing but respect for me. Going out to a club to have drinks while strippers perform is really not that big of a deal. Its a SHOW!!! It not like he will screwing them!! To each his own!!!

I used to bartend at a bar and have bartended several bachelor parties. So I have seen what happens up front and personal. Some grooms really get into it and some could care less about the strippers. Just like some groomsmen get into it and some don't. It varies... but most of the time, its the single groomsmen that get really into the girls and the lapdances. Most grooms felt uncomfortable and blushed during the dances. You could tell they didn't enjoy it. I had one groom do shot at the bar by himself while the girl put on a show....

Having that said, I can't worry about what can and what cannot happen.

Men go to strip bars all the time !! ...If you kid yourself, that your Fh, isn't the type, to go....or would never do such a 'cheesey' thing...you're kidding yourself. The fun of a strip club, is to laugh, and have fun.
