I am gonna fall over!

My FMIL, who is notorious for really cheap, bad gifts I can never use, shocked me by finally sending us an engagement gift. She got us all of the dinner and lunch plates and mugs for our everyday china (it's butterfly meadow..mix n match)!!!! Thanks FMIL

yeah I think she definitely is. She came to see my play, and we went out to dinner. It wasn't bad. It's going to take time but she's really trying. I couldn;t believe it when I came home to a huge box from Fortunoff. Plus I mean, the fact that it was from Fortunoff, where I know she does NOT shop, it shows she was trying to get us something we'd really like.

It says a LOT for her, ebcause her gifting style is usually that she'll go to one store wander around and get stuff she thinks a person might like, rather than going to a specific store..even if the store is totally inappropriate for half of the people she shops for. Last christmas;hanukkah, she got FH and I winter hats with ANIMALS on the top...they were way creepy! LOL She's funny like that...we have a LOT of mugs


ETA: Oh and stuff my our names on it. She always feels compelled to buy anything that has our names on it...

These were CREEEEEEEEEPY animals with big shiny eyes....very frightening...a cat and dog coming out of our heads...
