I am having a breakdown

so yet again I am having the we have no money breakdown. Okay I have no money-
while we should have been saving we did not and now we have to and it seems impossible to save and live-

so looks like I am on the search for a second job-16 hours at my full time job and another few at a second job won't kill me right-

First off, BREATHE!!!!!!! We all have $$ issues, believe me!! Sure getting a 2nd job might not be a bad idea, but you should also go through what you're spending and try to cut back. Not just on the little things, but really cut down. I know it stinks, but it'll all be worth it in the end.

Thanks-

unfortunately I am not spending anything. I have a unusually low base salary and do not get overtime. Between that and ny bills, rent, etc is it just impossible.

Honestly, it won't killyou.... I just got a second job.... I am now waitressing on sundays and picking up saturday nights every now and then...... It is the best kind of 2nd job, cause in one day you make like $100-$200. And if you are too stressed and can't work, you just find a cover.

I just got a second job myself...its not that bad...you'll have to work a little harder on the weekends to organize your home but that could be done 123...I was also freaking out, but hey we gotta do what we gotta do...dont give up, everything is doable! Good luck!

trust me..it will allwork out....FH and I did this thing 100%...2 1/2 weeks before teh wedding we found ourselves quite a few $1000 short....our parents just offered us an early gift..now we are rolling high.

dont stress..you still have so much time!

thanks girls. I am just upset about a slew of things and this just adds on. I work crazy hours already and only see FI on saturdays. Plus I know we are not getting any help at all from anyone.

I have been working a second job for the past 3 1/2 years! On Tuesdays and Wednesdays I work from 7:30 AM until 10:00 PM! It stinks but you get used to it.

I know this won't help you, but DH and I have been working second jobs for years. It's very expensive to live here and to pay for a wedding.

Can you postpone the date so you can save more?

I'm right there w/ ya sister! Are you using coupons when you shop? I do! Try to look thru all your mail, the yankee trader, those coupon books, everywhere. Get the Sunday paper and there's coupons in there. Look at what your spending on, and try to cut down some there. And if your paychecks are direct dep, try to get them to split up the money into 2 accounts automatically, or just sign up for the Holiday Club at your bank, whenever you deposit your check, they can automatically transfer the $ into an account that you can't w/draw from unless you close it! Just some ideas for you. Otherwise, just take a deep breath and relax! Don't give yourself wrinkles! You'll figure it out!

def look into waitressing or bartending, if in a nice establishment tips can be good.

Have you considered writing a check from your credit card, depositing the money in an account and pay it back with gifts from your wedding? Do it close to your wedding as not to incur any excessive interest.

you know what else really helped, and don't laugh..... Me and FH always throw our change into a big jar..... after a few months we had like $300. We didn't even realize it.

We are dealing with the same issue...$$$ is a constant problem especially when you are trying to save. I'm actually meeting to review my resume to try and get a second job teaching at night. Just breathe and discuss the situation with your FH. It always makes me feel better to vent a little.
