I am having a really bad day

First, I have major cramps. They stink. I am majorly PMSing.

Second, John is still not doing well. He can barely walk and is in so much pain. He is not one to complain and he stayed home from work again today. he tried to work yesterday and could only manage to stay for a few hours. I am so worried about him. He is supposed to call the doctor when he wakes up. Then he said to me last night, 'I'll just take the train into Manhattan.' ARE YOU EFFIN KIDDING ME? He can barely stand. I assured him that I would leave work and drive him.

Sorry for venting. I just feel so bad today and don't know what else to do. I feel like I am on the verge of tears.

Thanks, ladies. I am sitting at my desk fighting back tears. John called the doctor, left a message. He is in so much pain... I hate being helpless. I suggested we go to the ER but he doesn't want to. I am just so scared that something is really wrong (like the cancer came back - ok, now I am crying at my desk. Thank god I have my own office).

Any other updates sweetie???

Just hung up with John. The nurse at the office is going to speak to the doctor and find out what he wants to do. This pizzes me off because he has been calling since 10 AM. John is still in tremendous pain and refuses to go to the ER.

I am sorry if I seem like a complainer. I am just so hypersensitive when it comes to him.

Oh Hollie do not think for one minute that expressing your frustrations could ever be construed as complaining. You have a tough situation and you need to vent. This is why we are here. I hope John feels better very soon and gets the care he needs.

OMG Hollie, I am so sorry to hear that John is still in so much pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not, for one minute, think that you are complaining to us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're reacting exactly the way all of us would!!!!!!!!!!

I'll keep the both of you in my thoughts and prayers!!! I hope that he starts to feel better and that everything will be ok.

I tried. He is dead set against it. He is still in pain but won't go to the ER. I hope the doctor can see him tomorrow.

I'm sure there is a part of him (a big part of him) that is afraid of what the results may be. Unfortunately, the only thing you can do is support him in his decision, respect his wishes, and be there for him. Continous thoughts and prayers for the both of you.
